During this past year of 2020 I started to be more intentional on my prayer journal. With COVID-19 pausing my studio for most of this year since we have been deemed as a non-essential business throughout much of this year. I have taken the time to shift my thinking. You see if would of been easy for me to be come negative and worry, but instead I decided to give it over to God. He calls us to lay our burdens at his feet for him to carry for us.

In order to change my way of thinking I needed something to help me shift my mindset and focus on the positives that God was brining into my life. Such as spending more time with my children and especially my son who was getting ready to head off to college for his freshman year clear across the country. Being able to travel home to the farm and spend multiple weeks at a time since there was no COVID case back there and we were health. You see I could of been a crying mess not wanting to see my baby boy head off to college, instead I spent more time with him and talking about many things. If I was working as normally I would not of had that time.
I wanted to get off on the right foot with my journaling and prayer journal, truth be told I have NEVER been much of one to journal even though I have always wanted it. I just could never get into the swing of it. So I took to Pinterest and I came upon the following 20 Prompts For Spiritual Journaling from NIV Bible Lifehacks.
